The Kingdom Work Continues

In our last issue of Compass, I shared with you how God has been enlarging our territory as we join in this Kingdom Work with leaders from across the country. The prayer of Jabez may have been overused in the past few years, but the words of that passage (1 Chron. 4:10) have rung true for Quiet Waters Ministries.
I would like to ask you to pray as Jabez prayed, “Oh, that You (God) would bless me (Quiet Waters Ministries) indeed, and enlarge my (Quiet Waters Ministries) territory, that Your (God’s) hand would be with me (Quiet Waters), and that You (God) would keep me (Quiet Waters) from evil, that I (Quiet Waters counselors and staff ) may not cause pain!”
In this issue of Compass, it is my pleasure to introduce two of the leaders with whom we have begun working this year. I’m introducing them to you through their articles. With them, the Kingdom Work continues.
Dr. Gary Allen writes about “Restitution: Going Beyond Forgiveness.” Gary is National Coordinator of Ministerial Enrichment for the Assemblies of God and Executive Editor of Enrichment Journal. He has asked Quiet Waters Ministries to partner with him in providing services to pastors. To learn more about Enrichment Journal go to www.enrichmentjournal.ag.org.
Reverend Gary Harrison heads Mobilization and Pastoral Care for the Baptist General Conference. In his article, Gary asks the question “How’s Your Landing Gear Holding Up?” The Baptist General Conference has contracted with us for the Quiet Waters CareLine for their pastors. Gary also directs Pinnacle Ministries that provides training and coaching for pastors. Visit the Pinnacle Ministries Web site at www.pinmin.org and their Shalom House at www.theshalomhouse.org.
Working with these two gentlemen has been a true blessing for Quiet Waters Ministries and for me personally. They have joined the other leaders that have made this ministry possible. Together we are about Kingdom Work to renew, restore, and strengthen pastors and missionaries so that the gospel can go forth unhindered.
