Quiet Waters Ministry Assistance Program is a professional and confidential consulting resource for pastors, missionaries, and other Christian leaders. Denominations and ministries contract with Quiet Waters Ministries to provide this service to their staff.

Twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, our answering service put the pastor/missionary/employee in contact with one of our licensed, doctor or master level counselors to talk about a personal or congregational issue. Pastors and other Christian leaders simply call the toll-free number that they have been provided.

The counselors provide assessment, consultation and referral for pastors/in-country missionaries/employees when they have personal, congregational, or ministry concerns and problems. These concerns and problems include the total spectrum of problems which either affect or may affect the performance on the job, including, but not limited to, marital discord, physical or sexual abuse, problems with children or parents, financial problems, interpersonal problems with church leaders, or at work.

Quiet Waters provides up to three (3) hours of assessment and consultation via the telephone, per isolated incident per year, for each pastor/missionary/employee. These sessions are used to access the nature of the problem facing the individual or family, to provide consultation for the problem and if necessary, to arrange for referral to the appropriate resource. We maintain an International Referral Network which includes Canada.

Quiet Waters provides the denomination, agency or ministry statistical data concerning pastor/missionary/employee utilization of the Ministry Assistance Program. Such information is available on a secured website permitting twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) days a week access to detailed statistical reports. The cost to the denomination or ministry is based on a per pastor/missionary/employee, per month fee.
